THE FAMILY IS GROWING THE FAMILY IS GROWING THE FAMILY IS GROWING THE FAMILY IS GROWING

This season, American Vintage has asked two members of its extended family to become ambassadors. We have Carmen Montero Mundt for womenswear. And Nick Wooster for menswear.

Introductions.
Carmen

Bonjour Hello Carmen

AMV: How would you define your relationship with American Vintage?
Natural and organic. I've been wearing their knitwear for years. I'm a very loyal person: I wanted to work with American Vintage because we share the same values - like freedom, authenticity and sharing.
AMV: How would you describe your style?
Comfortable, timeless and natural.
AMV: How do American Vintage clothes fit in with your style?
I wear them every day. I travel a lot and I like versatile pieces that can adapt to different situations. They are essential, timeless pieces that I've had for years and will keep for a long time to come.
AMV: How did you come up with this selection?
I simply chose the clothes I liked best, the items that caught my eye. I have a two-faceted style: I love monochrome as much as colour. Above all, I need to feel good in my clothes whether I'm at work, with my family or out in nature. This selection brings all these elements together.

Bonjour Hello Nick

AMV: How would you define your relationship with American Vintage?
I discovered American Vintage nearly four years ago and was immediately drawn to the brand. I loved the cosiness and comfort of the clothes, as well as the colours and textures.
AMV: How would you describe your style?
Unexpected, rigorous, funny.
AMV: How do American Vintage clothes fit in with your style?
I love the idea of mixing comfortable, casual essentials with more tailored clothes. For me, that's the perfect balance.
AMV: How did you come up with this selection?
I've chosen items that I like. Outerwear that's cosy, tailored and casual. Corduroy: perfect for the season. And pink because I love that colour.
Nick

Nick Wooster's guests met at the American Vintage store in New York on 30 November. Once the shop doors closed, they all enjoyed an exquisite plant-based dinner. After customising Christmas baubles, everyone was able to discover his wardrobe of essentials.

On 5 December, it was Carmen Montero Mundt's turn to invite her friends and family to the American Vintage store in Covent Garden, London. On the programme: an intimate dinner and a personalised Christmas bauble workshop. And the presentation of her selection in neutral and natural shades.
