HYÈRES FESTIVAL 2025: THE FINALISTS
For nine years now, American Vintage has been unpacking its bags in Hyères for the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories. Here’s a look at the 2025 edition.
Each year, American Vintage supports a new artistic generation from around the world. By awarding its Photography Prize in Hyères, the brand highlights tomorrow’s talents.
10 finalists
For this 2025 edition (when the festival will celebrate its 40th anniversary), the jury members shortlisted 10 finalists — under the presidency of photographer Malick Bodian.
They are all competing for the coveted prize. Their mission? To interpret, through images, the style of the Marseille-based label. Each of their photographs will be exhibited throughout the festival.
1 winner
This year again, the winner of the Grand Prize will be given carte blanche to create an exclusive photography series, to be presented the following year in one of American Vintage’s boutiques.
1 new exhibition
Throughout the festival, Basile Pelletier, winner of the 2024 American Vintage Photography Prize, will exhibit his series Un temps pour vivre.
His photographs will cover the walls of the painting workshop at Villa Noailles: an intimate and personal journey through today’s Taiwan.
